सिक्का पानी में क्यों डुब गया ? Honest answer by employee .

How to stay motivated before going for SSB interview exam ?

Before going to SSB, just remind yourself, about yourself everyday: Read these lines everyday So that your mind gets activated and potential qualities COME UP. This works as magic. Say this to yourself:  I am a confident person. Before taking action, I plan things. Everyone is my friend in SSB. I am not here for competition but to make my group get recommended. I will not fear any difficulty but will try my best to do it. I will listen to others' plan, give my own plan to others (loudly and clearly), and if my plan which I feel is better would convince, if not, then I would go with the group. I will not get impressed by anyone's achievements in SSB but would take everyone at PAR. I might be a repeater or a fresher, this attempt is enough to get recommended. I have enough to get recommended. I will not take SSB as a do or die case, but would take it as a fun activity in which I would challenge myself to do the best. I will be bothered about the present activity given to me rather...

How to clear TAT easily in SSB interview ?

When you write the TAT in psychology in your ssb or while doing practice at home, just keep in mind a simple rule. This rule shall make your story come alive, make it look grounded, reasonable and natural. Every picture that is shown to you contains some characters in the picture (even when you imagine a character from outside when there is no character in the picture shown).Who is this character? Is it someone in the picture which you through your thoughts give him actions? Is it your friend? Who is he? Well, he is no one but you. He is YOU. Now the rule is simple and that is: IF I WAS THERE IN THE PICTURE, WHAT WOULD I HAVE DONE? "AGAR MAIN HOTA, TOH KYA KARTA?" When you ask yourself this question and when you imagine yourself THAT CHARACTER, the things in the picture become more lively! The solutions become more profound. The picture NOW becomes ALIVE. We all have seen the picture of a farmer who is standing beside his barren land. Now thoughts aren't much clear at thi...

What NOT to write in Self description during SSB interview?

What NOT to write in Self description: Though writing self description is your personal matter. No one can tell you what to write because you know yourself the best. You also don't have to copy other's SD. BUT I could suggest you few lines what NOT TO WRITE. This i am suggesting because The moment you write these lines, it gives a bad impression to the psychologist. He starts doubting you. When a psychologist starts doubting, he will minutely look  at the response sheet. A psychologist in doubt is more dangerous than the IO in doubt. So, let's not put the psychologist in doubt. Now what NOT to write in self description (in any of the 5 paragraphs of SD)  1. I think/parents think/teachers think, friends think I adjust with people very easily.  2. I mingle with people easily.  3. I tolerate people  4. I cooperate with people  5. I am an honest person (write trustworthy)  6. Sometimes i trust people and get myself into trouble   7. I am an obedi...

Why SSB is conducted during officers selection in defence forces ?

How SSB tests/LIFE works: Imagine a person who has no experience of this world. Straight from the heavens he is brought into this world. The world is new to him. He will react to the world (through the experience he had in heaven). He might like a few things, he might hate a few things and to many things he might have a neutral reaction. These reactions came due to the concept of attitude. Attitude is nothing but our reaction towards any stimuli. The stimuli in this was our world. He reacted based on some "given attitude". A person cannot react to anything or might have a neutral reaction to the things which he didn't have any  experience with. So, experience gives attitude and attitude makes our reactions. Why you like noodles over dosa/idli is another matter of attitude. But how attitudes are formed? Are they already put into us by GOD and thus, we react to things according to this given OR we generate attitudes towards things and then this attitude generates again more ...

Who is the interviewing officer in SSB ? How to give your best in SSb interview ?

Who is an interviewing officer? The answer depends how you see him. The way you perceive him, changes your responses: verbally and facially. If he is according to you a very powerful person, a person who knows you already and the person who is omniscient, then your performance automatically degrades. You enter into his cabin and see how lavishly he is sitting there like a lion ready to eat you, a small rabbit. You are his bait. The more powerful you imagine him to be, the worse you perform. That's why many sons and daughters of army families better perform than civilians in many cases because they have seen these officers daily in their neighborhood. They already had talk with him in cantonments while having jogging and running. So for them, its easier and natural and that's why they remain calm. Now since many of us are from civilian background and many are soldiers even, we need to change our approach to see HIM. Remember these things before entering his room: 1. He is a norm...

How to create natural story during SSB

Hi!  You all must have seen a TAT picture of a person who is going alone to somewhere and the background of the picture is of a bad weather. The winds are harsh and the road looks lonely. Many of the candidates ask me what should they do with this kind of pictures? Well, the first step is to identify the problem or the issue in the picture. What is the main problem? The main problem is that the weather is bad! No one could be seen on the roads, means very less people are out. Why? Because of the bad weather! Why the main character is out in the bad weather? Because he has to accomplish a task! The task could be related to the agricultural fields, college, school, office, medical problems of someone etc. The psychologist wants to see when problem occurs in life, are you determined enough to do your task (come what may). If you are willing to accomplish the task, that means you have the will, the determination, the confidence and the courage to do something. In these types of stories...
